FAQ

What is ALIVE Garden?
ALIVE Garden is a nonprofit cultivating healing, sustainability, and renewed life through plants and repurposed florals. We partner with florists, event designers, and communities to divert floral waste and transform it into educational, healing, and community-centered experiences.

How can I support ALIVE Garden?
You can support us by donating, volunteering, purchasing from our shop, buying gift cards, or donating flowers/plants/supplies.

Can I donate flowers from an event?
Yes. We accept post-event florals when they are still usable. The easiest way is to schedule a drop-off. Limited pickup may be possible depending on volume and availability.

What types of flower and plant donations do you accept?
We generally accept:

  • post-event florals (same-day or next-day when possible)

  • healthy potted plants

  • usable containers/vases (if requested)

  • basic supplies (pots, soil, tools) when needed

We do not accept moldy, rotting items or pest-infested plants.

Where is the ALIVE Garden Space?
Our space may operate by appointment, scheduled visits, and programs. For current access options, visit the ALIVE Garden Space page or contact us.

How do I book a visit or join a workshop?
Workshops and experiences are listed on our website when available. If scheduling is not live yet, use the Contact page to request availability.

Are donations refundable?
Donations are final. If you believe an error occurred (wrong amount or duplicate donation), contact us as soon as possible.

Can I volunteer?
Yes. We welcome volunteers for floral sorting, garden support, event setup, and program assistance. Visit the Volunteer page to apply.
